About Living Here

At Station 137, we have a growing live-in program that currently supports four Firefighter/EMTs. We offer both independent and dormitory-style sleeping spaces, with shared common spaces and dayrooms.

The live-ins are responsible for staffing the station during nights and weekends, the most vulnerable time when there is no paid driver.

We currently have two live-in firefighters.

Fully renovated facilities!

The EVFD provides fire, rescue, RIT, and QRS services to the residents of Edgewood and surrounding communities. On average, EVFD answers 650 calls per year with an average of 20-30 working fires. We pride ourselves in offering in-house training for our members twice a week, with the opportunity to attend outside trainings and classes.
